A full 75 m² second floor flat, with two double/king size bedrooms, a small single room, a large living room. You can access the flat by two ramps of typical slate Ligurian stairs. This appartment was the first home of the Scola family, before buying the nearby property, in the 1920s: completely restored to give light to the rooms, it maintains the difference in height of the floors (the small inner stairs between one room and the other): these stairs are due to the way in which Ligurians houses were built in the 15th and 16th centuries, laying one main wall to the other to form a long row of houses which supported each other. Four large windows overlook the main street of Loano’s historical center, while on the back of the building a small balcony provides air and light for the kitchen. This room is suitable for big families (there’s also a foldaway single bed in the living room) or for two couples of friends, and can also be requested with the ‘residence formula’ (without b&b service and for longer periods).
